Public Seminar: Digitalizing parenting and mental health interventions

Apps and smart devices are increasingly being developed to help parents manage everything from sleep schedules and nutrition to screen time, education, and even parenting tips. New platforms are also emerging to provide psychological support and counseling for parents. What does the digitalization of parenting look like in Denmark? How are digital tools designed and used as public health approaches to support parents and their children?

Join us for a Public Mental Health seminar as we explore the opportunities and challenges of digitalizing parenting programs and mental health interventions for families with young children. We'll feature three digital interventions designed to support parenting, enhance family well-being, and improve mental health for mothers experiencing postpartum depression in the Danish context.

Following the presentations, a panel of mental health experts and scholars in science and technology will offer diverse perspectives on these issues. Together with the audience, we will discuss how digital interventions are designed, implemented, and evaluated—taking into account their benefits, potential drawbacks, and impact on equity and inclusivity.
